On SET, Ceri seemed to have a green CSO fuzz around her on tonights bulletin - perhaps a set refresh at last?!
Fingers crossed - they're certainly overdue one, it's only been there 10 years. The lighting and fuzzy picture quality (almost like Millbank) is the worst thing on SET though..
EDIT: Here are some caps from this evening's bulletin against last night's late bulletin which I guess must have been the last from that set. Obviously CSO from the wide shot and the background of the presenter is slightly different.
I'm amazed they've put the effort in to create a wide shot. I fear this won't be a new set, although it seems odd they'd go to the effort of a CSO set for technical work one night, but it'd be interesting to see what they'd do with the newsroom with a new set all the same.
The green screen on the main, head-on shot is pretty good - there aren't really any signs of keying, but the wide does leave a lot to be desired!
It would make sense to keep the newsroom backdrop now the nationals have one. This must be the first English region to get a new set post-NBH move?
No, Oxford had a new set at Easter.
Well that completely passed me by thanks to the regional super-dooper mega threads. After some searching, here it is for those who didn't see it, thanks to DrewF for the pictures.

They could have at least used the newest version of the desk
