Not only have we got a new look, but it feels like there's more effort being put into the actual programme. The running order hasn't been identical for each hour, the links are varying, and there is new content appearing. It's a world away from the old Newsday, and much better for it.
the ABR titles are odd to say the least, not helped that the headline wipe kept appearing, but Newsday is brilliant I'm loving this, like I said I will it record it in HD tomorrow and put it on YouTube if no one else has done it.
Possibly one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen on the BBC! They had some dragons in the studio and so there was a period of at least a minute where Rico ran around the studio with them and his colleague stood awkwardly next to some people playing a large gong and some drums.
