New BBC Singapore studio

I thought that splitting it from the main thread might be nice... (July 2015)

The screen colour balance issues Noggin was talking about are quite apparent in that picture.

The standing up shot from London looks a bit awkward, does it not? Whilst on the catwalk the presenter looks like they're standing in front of the screen for a reason, the shot standing up behind the desk just seems slightly odd. Surely London could use the catwalk as well, meaning they wouldn't have to use the stripped down 'sidebar' graphics.

And as for Asia Business Report, how is it that the ticker animates on but the rest of the graphics do not?

Mishal Husain is the voiceover!

Good riddance to Newsday's presenters on the monitors set up. New look is a big improvement.

Oh goodness the white text on the over-the-shoulder graphics with its shadow looks like WordArt at it's very finest... Shocked

I like the music but am not sure about the voiceover (no problem with the voice itself, but it seems almost condescending: "It's Newsday"). The whole opening seems like it could get a bit clunky when stand-in presenters come into the picture or if timings are somehow off...

They really have ******* that World News sting with the blue business banner - I don't really know what purpose that serves!

The BOTH headlines are a bit of a mess. They need to lose the over-the-shoulder stuff and stick with the normal straps. The UK opt was horrific and needs to be re-thought.

The giant remote that Rico holds in his hand controlling the movement of the autocue.

In the old studio they used a foot pedal under the desk to control the autocue.
