I went to a talk given by John Simpson last night in Durham. You might like to know he isn't planning to retire for at least 10 more years!

Hi Breakfast News. Hope you are well!!

Here on BBC World, we have a guy who is frequently introduced as Sports Editor. He does quite a bit of presenting too. His name is David Brenner, and looks like a slightly older version of Des Lynam!

Someone may be able to correct this, if I have gotten the job title wrong. Nisha Pillai, in particular, always introduces him as Sports Editor.

David only works on BBC World - but he is in charge of Sport on the Channel. There are Sports Editors already - it's just they are not on screen faces.
