I think she's been on leave for a while, but she was on News 24 yesterday. Also, I don't think that Jeremy Bowen will be Mid East Editor - I think that he will be the natural successor to John Simpson as World Affairs Editor when he eventually retires.

That means both him and Andrew Marr are leaving Westminster. There's gonna be two new political corrrespondents.

So whos gonna be the Chief Political Correspondant on BBC1 now?

I'm sure that this has been discussed in another thread but I would imagine that one of the current political correspondents (maybe Guto Harri) would be promoted. Others have suggested a new editor/chief correspondent partnership of Huw Edwards and Martha Kearney.
