New background view on Calendar

I would post this in the general thread, but it seems to have been closed

Calendar got a new backdrop tonight (technically they also used it yesterday as well)

I’m not sure what city is depicted, but it is quite a nice night time scene, and it fits in better with the black panels. It also seems to be a static view rather than a video

Hopefully we’ve seen the end of that nondescript view of Leeds they’ve been using for years

My guess is Bradford

Does the East/South edition of the programme still have the same Humber Bridge view as before?

There’s also a daytime version of that view which they’re using at lunchtime. And yes, it’s definitely Leeds.

I preferred the previous version which was a lot more recognisable, and was from a higher position showing more of the city. Most of it seems obscured with a load of nondescript roofs in the foreground of this shot.
