Is Neil Sean a real life Avid Merrion?

It has been irritating me a long while. I HATE those promos Neil Sean does stood next to celebrities. I can just see him at home watching them at home and doing ungodly things (if he doesn't try to pounce on them immediately after filming!) He reminds me of celebrity obsessed Bo Selecta character Avid Merrion.

Forgive me, but who is Neil Sean? I've never heard of him. And what are these promos you speak of?

I've just Googled for him. I think it might be this person. I don't recognise him. I've still never heard of him. And I still don't know what the "promos" referred to by sibye are.

Presumably he's some Sky News "showbiz reporter" or something, looking at the on-screen graphics in that pic. I wouldn't know - I've never watched Sky News in my life.

EDIT: Hmmm... sibye only made this thread within the past half hour or so, and has now mysteriously disappeared now that we're all asking what the f*ck he/she is going on about. And their post count shows that they've left no other posts anywhere on TVF. Can we say "troll"???

I wonder if this is some attempt at viral marketing. Either way I think it should be disposed of.

He's sky news' showbiz "insider", usually on Sky Sunrise at 6:45am Weekdays and 6:45am/7:45am weekends.

The promo's are usually him and a "celebrity" say for example.... Il Divo saying "stay tuned for [insert name of guest] coming up after the break" or "if you'll miss it, you'll miss out."

He writes for a variety of publications, namely the Metro....

Thank you for your kind words. I left because I do not spend my whole life in front of the computer. Neil Sean is Sky News' showbiz reporter. I did intend this post to go in the Sky News Forum but I have just registered and in error started it as a new thread. And if I am not here in 30 minutes don't panic. I have not disappeared. I am just doing something else!
