CNBC Europe have replaced Europe Tonight (replay), Tonight Show, NBC Nightly News and the Poker programming with Squawk Australia, Asia Squawk Box and the first 2 hours of Cash Flow. Presumeably this will continue while there's turmoil in the worlds stock markets.

I don't know if it was cancelled at the last minute because of the recent world finance issues with the stocks and shares but there was no Tonight Show or Nightly News last night on CNBC despite being on the EPG.

I really like Today, the set and titles/graphics are fantastic. I really like the way its all clean and white, very simple. Most probably because they're broadcasting in HD, would you mind posting a TOTH? I've only seen the day Meredith Viera started, and thats at least a year ago now.

Why can't they do this every night!!!!
Monday night they had a special, "The CNBC Edge" which presumably aired in the slots normally occupied by Fast Money and Mad Money. We got to see a Nikkei 225 chart on CNBC US, a strange sight since normally CNBC US don't show charts for anything outside the US.
As for Today. Back in the very early days of Sky News, Today got two half-hour slots (for those with shor memories, prior to 2001 Sky News bulittens were generally 30 minutes in lenght with other programming on the half hour). It was shown IIRC at 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Later in the 1990s it got a more complete airing on NBC Super Channel. AFAIK since NBC Europe closed in 1997 it hasn't been seen on UK TV.
Wierdest thing was, circa 1990, RTE took a two hour slot from Sky News from 11:00am-13:00, it screened part of Today terrestrially during this slot (a rebroadcast of a rebroadcast!!!)

I believe Good Morning America is also aired on Nine Network, and Ten airs the CBS Early Show. As said, it's an easy way for the Australian networks to fill up the early morning schedules, whereas here these shows are aired in the middle of the day our time, making it inconvenient for the UK networks to show it.
