The promo actually adopts a house style that CBS used for its network identity 3 or 4 seasons ago. There are changes - a major refresh was due to happen in mid-2010 with the introduction of HD broadcasting but the arrival of a new EP at the start of 2010 delayed it. That's why the 'Apple-esque' graphics package was brought out as a stop gap. The set has been tinkered with and rehearsals have been going on over the New Year weekend.
Also is the set and presentation staying the same? The promo seems to suggest the logo will lose the yellow/ orange for light blues?!
