Anyword on the construction of the newsroom or move in date? Last week Richard Engel filmed a Skype interview with the Syrian father who distracts his daughter during bomb blasts. The newsroom or office space appear unused and has exposed brickwork like at 30 Rock.

No surprise but for obvious reasons this has now been postponed.

Let me guess? If the new channel is launched, will it replace the existing SkyNews International since SkyNews International is essentially simulcasts the UK version, meaning more UK news currently broadcast around the world?

I should have posted this here, appears to be two new hires on NBC News both American.
One is Sarah James whose based in Australia and works for ABC there, and worked for NBC News up to 2008. She was billed as a contributing correspondent.
The other is Carl Nasman he was recently on DW, and his LinkedIn (a top search result) says he’s “ Climate Change Correspondent at NBC Sky World News”.
https://de.linkedin.com/in/carlnasman
So it sounds the name maybe NBC Sky World News, combining the brand. Some statistics I saw (from NBC & Comcast) is that NBC is the go to news site for US News for people around the world. Additionally there is CNBC everywhere so the NBC brand maybe stronger than the Sky brand.
Edit : Willem Marxs just showed up on MSNBC as a NBC News Correspondent, reporting from Madrid. He is/was previously from CNBC.
So it sounds like even though they are not launching soon the correspondents are making their debut.

Is there a true spanish language world wide network aside from CNN Español? If not I could see them perhaps do a streaming version. Telemundo has correspondents throughout Latin and South America and in Spain I think. They could easily translate packages that air on NBC Sky World News. And they wouldn’t have to change the name Telemundo is Television World.

On the Spanish front, the big international TV news channels are CNN en Español and NTN24, which is run by Colombia's RCN network. RT and France 24 do have Spanish services but aren't in as many places as CNNE and NTN24. The first Spanish news channel to launch was Noticias ECO owned by Mexico's Televisa and ran from 1988-2001, CBS also had a Spanish-language arm in the 1990s, CBS Telenoticias, which was later sold to Telemundo, which it is now Telemundo's international feed. NBC also briefly had a run with a Spanish-language service, "Canal de Noticias NBC" (NBC NEWS Channel) in the 1990s, produced out of their Charlotte, NC bureau and this predates their ownership in Telemundo
Here is Noticias ECO''s launch in 1988
A sample of Canal de Noticias NBC, 1997
Telenoticias, prior to CBS ownership, would run a credit roll of where TN was airing across Latin America, as seen here in 1994
CBSTN also produced newscasts for Brazil's SBT, as seen here in 1998

Update on this: Andrew Lack is stepping down, after public protests calling for leadership change and a unionization effort within the company demanding more transparency about harassment issues there. Grateful to the sources who spoke. https://t.co/gHrDwJRJTX
