Is that the end of “Euronews NBC” then? The mooted rebrand never happened and a tie up with a corporate sibling gives more synergies than a minority shareholding in an otherwise separate network.
Odd really NBC hold on to the MSNBC brand considering Microsoft have long since exited the channel. Might be the opportunity to tidy things up with the various brands and relaunch as a global network of channels rather than adding a purely global channel to the portfolio.
I'd speculate that this channel will replace Sky News International in most markets as Comcast own Sky News outright unlike Euronews which can continue to provide a niche Eurocentric news channel.
It may annoy British expats who will no longer have access to the channel, but I wouldn't be surprised if some providers in Europe will switch from the overseas to the domestic feed instead.

But is the British expat market really significant enough for them to do that? It may very well be in some seaside resorts, but there are only about 1.2 million Britons living in a continent of some three quarters of a billion people, so it's not exactly a lucrative market. Besides, the large number of Americans living in Europe has not resulted in CNN Domestic being distributed in Europe.

As far as we know, the name change to Euronews NBC will never happen due to audience response noting a positive response to the channel as is.
Something noteworthy – Comcast has added Sky News to its TV Go online streaming platform. It hasn't been added to Xfinity cable systems to watch on an actual television, but you can now stream Sky News in the US through Comcast alongside all the other channels (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Food Network, HGTV, etc. etc. etc.)
