My friend went to Birmingham. Good uni. I went to visit her a few months ago. The nightlife is amazing.
I left quite a few years ago but even then the nightlife WAS birmingham uni.
Birmingham always has been my favourite city. There is just so much to do. I remember been on the german market before watching the relaunch of News 24 on the giant screens next to City Hall. It has such an energy and the Uni is amazing. I loved my time there. Out of interest where are you?

Anway, we;ve become side-tracked........
Oh but how is Edinburgh? The wee nation receiving Reporting Scotland.....
Umm I wonder hoe much Wee Jackie and Thingy get paid? Surly there an rewards bonus for Jackies acid tongue.
Ive only ever seen a few minutes of RS by accident and the scene was tense. Has the presenters' attitudes always been that way?
Well its slight BBC/Money related isn't it.

Well, if you think that's unjustified, Fiona Bruce earns 1 million pounds a year according to ''Breakfast News'' (one of the people on this forum). I like Fiona, but 1 million pounds a year is just flaming ridiculous.

i like Natasha but the payrise is unjustified imho. also no wonder she turned itv down for their projects - she'd really come unstuck and out of her depth on those kinda shows.

I realise its a terrible stressful job having to sit on your arse and read an autocue. It really is absurd. Its shocking if these figures are right and quite frankly a waste of the license fee. If they have £1Mil. on presenters then no wonder there on cutbacks....

i totally agree and as much as i like Natasha i am realistic enough to know she aint worth it although i'd hate to see her leave. I'm torn.... it really is too much money. Who do we write to to complain - what's the proper address rather than just the bbc - who do I address it to? Is there an open account ledger of presenter salaries where we can compare like for like?? One of you guys must know.
