Deadly. For all her work - including the Ten, Crimewatch, Real Story, and Call My Bluff - the figure was certainly near it, and it would explain why Kaplinsky is only the second highest earning female.

Me too... well if you can call it working. Just an excuse to prat around on tinternet whilst no-one else is in, and get paid double for the privilege!

Yeah. There is me and one other reporter in the newsroom at the mo... and so far i've done sweet F.A. It was either this or see my darling mother-in-law. Guess which won....

I think you're winding me up. Shocked I really like Fiona (as you can tell by my previous posts) but 1 million a year is just flaming ridiculous. I don't think any TV presenter deserves that much. Shocked

Hey, there's no need for that kind of rudeness, I haven't been rude to you. Anyway, how much does Kirsty get?

So what you though it OK to alter my statements. I do not earn 400k or how ever much she earns. I resent telling people my pay-package and do not openly tell people how much I earn.
I would value an apologie. But moving back to the topic. Arrow

Sorry Matrix, it was a typing error. Sorry to offend you.

When I first left Uni I looked into the Beeb, and in-deed did work for them for a while. It wasn't much and there was the bands thingy. I thing it varies depending upon the "levels" within the BBC. I only worked there for a year before my wife became pregenant and we decided to move to the countryside.
Alas I found a job working in my local town, on rather excellent pay and a rather nice swivel chair.
I believe it changed again with the introduction of the "Price Bands" so am now completly unaware.
The BBC website sometimes gives helpful advice on this sort of stuff. I shall have to check it out.
_______
On a seperate note £1Million seems outragous for a presenter.
