I'm not so sure -Sian has lost her sparkle.

Sorry, I don't see that at all. She still seems totally on form to me - especially when in the classic pairing with Bill.

I don't know, sometimes she just seems like she is trying too hard at times, with the weekday show. Weekends are totally different with the newsier feel to it, and she seems to be slightly better then. I don't know, it must just be me.

I thought Sophie was pregnant again. I've seen a bump emerging in the past few weeks!

Good for Natasha. She did the Six a few times a few months back and she did well.

Sian should get the top slot on Breakfast I should imagine, and they'll bring in Kate Silverton for the weekends with Bill.

Sophie pregnant again, eh? She's going to have her hands full Very Happy

Just read in the Breakfast thread that Mishal Husain will be down to present Breakfast together with Dermot from Monday to Thursday next week. Maybe she will be Natasha's replacement?

The BBC intranet posted:
Natasha Kaplinsky will present the Six O'clock news when Sophie Raworth goes on maternity leave.

The BBC confirmed yesterday that Raworth is expecting her second child and would be taking maternity leave toward the end of the year.

A BBC spokesman said Raworth was delighted with the news and would be returning to work after her maternity leave.

Natasha Kaplinsky commented: 'I am thrilled to hear Sophie’s news and of course delighted to be working during daylight hours again.'
