NEWSCASTER OF THE YEAR ! Do excuse me while i choke on my chardonnay..
She's the beebs golden girl at the moment and she's very popular, granted but she certainly isn't outstanding as a newscaster.

There is far too much of her on t.v. I don't dislike her i'm just getting sick of the sight of her.

Sure she is good when she does read the News but I would need to see the criteria that they judge with to convince me.

I hate to say this, but I agree we might be suffering from a little Kaplinsky over-exposure. I think she's great on Breakfast, after a slow start she's made the programme her own and when she's on with Bill she really comes to life. She's also extremely good at reading the weekend bulletins.
The dancing thing was good - I don't think that compromised her integrity as a news presenter at all, it showed her in a new light and was really enjoyable. But presenting Strictly Come Dancing, then the BAFTAs, then Eurovision... it all seems a bit much.
I remember disagreeing with people who made points like these last time we discussed this, but since then I think the situation's snowballed a bit too far. Perhaps Natasha should make a decision - news or showbiz. To my mind she's good at both, but she needs to decide where she wants her career to go.

Natasha is "probably" verging on being a good "presenter", but I agree with the mainstream comments made by most people above - she is not what I would define as a good newscaster. She IS ok, but by no means the best.
That mantle should, of course, go to MOIRA STUART , who only does newscasting, and not presenting.

Its not a question or you been right and someone else been wrong. People opinions will differ with everthing in our lives. People may find the relationship, myself included between Dermot and Natasha false. People are entitled to think and express their views. Like you are allowed to say its briilaint, I should equally be allowed to say its rubbish. Please allow people to agree to differ.
