I don’t really know Carrie Gracie to make a comment about her style. But in life people can come across as annoying but you can’t quantify it. It’s just a certain feeling. What was just stating an opinion.

Exactly. Personally I don’t find her particularly annoying but as you say you can dislike someone’s persona without having a valid reason why.

A better way compare the worth of Carrie’s former role is to compare it to previous incumbent, and in terms of whether it’s a gender pay gap issue is to compare Gracie’s pay at the time with that of the Europe editor and political editor. But since we are not privy to such information as far as I know and probably shouldn’t be we can’t really make a judgement.

The BBC keep on digging there. Was an article on ITV News yesterday they've specifically warned BAME staff not to show public support for Naga too. Can't believe how much they're screwing this up.

And now it transpires that the original complaint also alluded to Dan Walker as well.

It couldn't get much worse for the BBC and Breakfast. This could spell the end of Breakfast's dominance in the ratings. Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are already courting Naga Munchetty over to Good Morning Britain. I'd be amazed if Naga's resignation alone isn't announced in the next few hours / days.

Good job, BBC. Way to dismantle one of your most prolific programmes.

It won’t have any effect on the ratings of Breakfast at all. It’d get the same numbers if it was hosted Monday to Friday by Roger Johnson and Nina Warhirst
