I really wish the BBC World Headline Bed would be used more often here in the British Isle's.
I occasionally hear it on News Specials and such and it sounds so much better than News 24's. If the national is to adopt a new bed, I would strongly advise using this one.

Pointless text? Im mortified, took me hour's to find that bloody 13 thing.
On a slightly related note (pointless), What happened last night on the 10. We had MT's headlines at 10 with someone talking over the top saying it was pointless while showing shot's of the Exclusive John Towers interview. I just presume the audio feed's were incorrect.

Is there any reason that both of those phrases are grammatically incorrect? Am I missing some subtle but brilliant wit here?

Wonder if it's connected to "British Isle's" which was used earlier in the post

Any reason why there's a photo of you with a face like thunder pressing a baseball hat into your skull which has been used as your signature for at least 2 years?

I really like the World/News 24 headline re-cap beds (used at *.10, *.15)

There's more action in those with a nice bassy 'thump' every 3 seconds. It would be suited as the main bed at the TOTH.

A mixture of the bed in question and the news 24 countdown, add's more pace to the headlines I think..

Calm down dear, it's only a signature.

I'm afraid I've been cursed with that face so there's not much I can do about that. As for it being in place for at least two years, I think it's probably nearer to three. As unpalatable a thought as it may be, I have no great interest in subscribing to the usual signature cliques that pop up on here every couple of months; attacking Lúxton way back when, mocking Járón Bráss, moderator campaigns and attacks, and the cyclical calls to purge the Forum of "trolls".

Unlike some, I don't feel any great need to validate my presence on the Forum with an image stating I'm part of an exclusive clique. Still, it's nice to know that I'm in your thoughts, Jamez - however needlessly vitriolic and witless they may be.

Surely you're attemping to 'validate your presence on the Forum' by using a signiture of any type.

Erm, no, not really. And it's spelt "signature", by the way.

Returning to the topic in hand, Gentlemen.

What is the future for N6?
BBC News moves to its new home sometime in 2008 but until such time what will the studio's future be....
We have just had some alterations to the set, Mainly a red strip and change of DVD... But in the longer term what other changes could we expect.
I presume there won't be any major rebranding exercise before the 2008 move but would it be totally silly to expect the current studio look to change before the moving vans arrive?
Or is it a case of 15% cuts mean no more alterations....

Joel.
