It does look more realistic, more of a newsroom. I wonder if the background will change slightly for the later bulletins or even if there is a totally different background (I doubt it though).

Looks more News 24ish. But very nice indeed.

A red strip similar to N24 at the back, and a slight blue-tint to the desk - rather nice actually - but maybe a bit too busy?

It makes the whole set look so much nicer!

Have they made the light in the desk more white?

BBC News now has some animating astons. One of the headline astons just wiped from the left hand side of the screen. The Studio is ok, but something dosn't look quite right. Still better than the last incarnation.

The whole desk seems to be brighter. Looks like it was the lights in the desk that yellowed over time and not the desk itself.

I won't comment on the background because I've only seen a small cap on NOL's player, but it does look very big, but... still devoid of human life.

EDIT: Oh wait, Dan's cap seems so show that "the suits" are back
