The first picture has "Los Angeles" written in Calibri font with the second picture is written in the NBC font (not sure whether there is a name or not for it)
The desks are also different. The second pic is obviously way older.
FYI Updated Pics of new bureau. Looks like they can add pieces to the ends to the make the desk bigger. The NBC NEWS LOS ANGELES banner is a screeen that can be changed. Nice versatile set-up

Here are additional pics of the JOSE DIAZ BALLART Mini Set from Miami. Its tiny. Funny how they captured the Miami feel using the neon-esque elements.

Er, they've just taken away the outer desk modules. Look at the first image, the central element is the same and the extensions are obvious. They're both recent photos, following recent renovations to the bureau.

Just to clarify its a new building completely, not a renovation. The first image was probably taken when the facility opened and then second was a while later when Brian Williams did a west coast broadcast

Something is up at MSNBC, for about a week the shows that normally originate from the Newsroom/Studio (3A) have moved to other studios. Their current set has been around since 2007. Update/upgrade?
