There's a glimpse of the More4 News logo/graphics in the Radio Times - p8

Thanks, but as I don't happen to have a copy here that's not very useful. Any chance you could scan it in?

Can I echo that request!

Looking at the RadioTimes listings, there is also a five-minute programme called "Snowmail" on Saturday at 7pm, in which Jon Snow gives his view on the latest news.

Sorry, I seem to have left my copy at work. Maybe someone else can oblige?

Thanks Londoner - looks awful though! Hopefully, like the More4 logo itself, it'll look alot better on screen.

P.S. Londoner - any chance of a scan of how RT have incorporated More4 into their listings too, please?

Can't you go and read it for yourself in WHSmith? Or heaven forbid, shell out 95p for a copy? Twisted Evil Laughing

95p - it's gone up about 10p since I last bought a copy!

I'm just being impatient - won't be getting into town until tomorrow!

As for that article - sounds like the five minutes between the two bulletins would be a very entertaining watch! Laughing

I wonder if C4 News will begin to finish slightly earlier to give the More4 team an extra couple of minutes to prepare!

Ready for launch?
============
Today I'm preparing to do our very last pilot before we take the first More4 News to air on Monday night. If it goes well then we can all take the weekend off and look forward to Monday ... but some nerves are starting to creep in. We're not just launching a new news programme - as we're the first show to appear on More4 we're effectively launching a whole new channel. And I still haven't even decided what to wear!
It's a shame we can't show you what we've prepared for tonight's pilot. I've been talking to a former friar about how even he's terrified to hear that George Bush thinks he hears directly from God. And as Robbie Williams attacks the media for all their attacks on Kate Moss, I'll be asking a music journalist if it's true that many of those writing about Kate Moss's drug habit are no strangers to cocaine themselves.
But we'll find even more controversial opinions and different points of view on the news to bring you on Monday. See you at 8pm on More 4

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but Krishnan (I won't attempt the surname) in his "Metro" column today made mention of More 4 news....apparently they have 4 minutes to change mikes, move the studio furniture around and change over the computer systems.

All sounds like it's going to have to be a fairly slick operation, but then I suppose it would be a bit much for ITN to lay on an extra studio for the show- it seems that it will at least look fairly similar to Channel 4 News.

Not quite. From what I've heard it'll largely been comment over news, wheras C4 News is the other way round.

Quite looking forward to it now. Roll on 8...

It's also mentioned in the article Londoner linked too!

They'll probably have about five minutes - before their 8pm programmes (which usually begin just before Cool they have the "3 Minute Wonder", a couple of trailers and now the weather too.

Fridays though they'll get the luxury of nearly half an hour - I wonder if they'll play chicken and leave it till the last five minutes!

Anyone know who is set to be the stand in host for Sarah, I've seen Krishnan pictured with her. One thing C4 News seem to keep doing is introducing new bulletins without increasing the number of presenters!
