Has anyone actually managed to watch this programme on ITV1. It's on a late slot tonight after The South Bank Show. I saw an advert for it on the ITV News at 11pm and the virtual studio, graphics etc looked very retro. However why such the late slot - they could at least give it a go and give it a decent slot!

Because it's a remit-filling religious programme that gets a small audience and attracts little advertising

And will be dropped from the ITV1 schedules quicker than you can say "Bob's your uncle" as soon as OFCOM say the remit requirement is irrelevant.
Watched it and it isn't too bad. Didn't realise it was an ITN production. Suppose it's convenient for ITV and not too expensive - using Alaistair ,who'd be at ITN anyway whenever it's recorded (assuming it's not live!?), and mainly using material from the week as set-ups to the discussions.

I remember when there used to be a whole hour of "god-bothering" on the main 2 channels every Sunday from about 6pm.
The BBC still do show a religious programme on Sundays dont they? I remember ITV used to on a Sunday Morning but they axed that along with regional programmes!
Heaven and Earth show and then obviously Songs of Praise
ITV do sometimes show religious programming at Sunday lunchtime too. The way we Worshipped narrated by BBC Radio Cleveland's Alex Hall was a recent one

Isnt there a programme called 'Cathedral' which ITV1 airs on Sunday's around lunchtime?
