In the video below, what is the monitor behind the news reader, is it just a small green screen type thing or is it an actual monitor? If so what type is it?

GMTV's wasn't green-screen but I couldn't tell you what type of TV it is.

So it's just a borderless TV its not like a special thing for broadcasting ?

No, it's just an LCD screen with no borders.
