how can something like that go wrong though she is reading a screen that is right in front of her .

aww, you lot are mean - it was 6 am and she'd probably been out all nite at the jazz bar - makes some of the others look proficient for a change

It seems unlikely that she'll be given a new news slot but perhaps more documentaries.

I loved the emphasis she placed on the first word of her introduction, suggesting that she may "no longer" be "in news".........it was a rather hefty "when".

BBC tv news will be bleak without her but it looks like shes never coming back unfortunatley, i hope she dose get to do some news though

Interesting piece by Jon Snow...edited from a fuller version featured in Broadcast Mag.

I aint sure what the full version looks like - but I find what he is saying rather odd. He seems to be moving towards the journalist reading the news arguement - saying that all Channel 4 News readers are journalists then says there is room for both Moira and him? I aint sure if he means that Channel 4 News position is not that important or that Moira should read the news regardless of who else is employed?
