Although presumably Louise and Susanna are prepared for it...after all they have just presented a three hour news programme including numerous interviews!

the sunday AM /politics slot was just reading they was no interviews its not as if louise/suzannah do any preperation as they leave breakfast at ten to nine only 15 minutes before the news comes on air so how can they in such short time.
moira did it just as well as them.

Though I disagree with Moira being axed, it really is inevitable that she's going as she had lost all roles and the few summaries she did were a little pointless. The best slot I think for Moira would be the Sunday Nationals slot instead of Mishal Hussein.
Saying that whenever she had to interview people on Breakfast she was poor - she mixed all the sentences together and the questions weren't really that clear either.
As to some earlier points:
Rob Bonnett did present Breakfast from time to time as a relief presenter before Simon McCoy
Rob and Moira used to do the Breakfast Briefing from the desk when it first started and then when Chris Hollins joined it moved to the sofa
Moira stood in with Dermot for Natasha who was ill until Sian arrived for 07.00

...well this story is going back a bit and doesn't address the problem right now. I'm afraid to say that whilst I am a big fan of Moira, she did look rather uncomfortable with the new camera angles, unprepared scripts etc during that particular half hour. There used to be a clip on this site of the slot she presented with Dermot. Does anyone still have access to it?

I now think moira should look outside the BBC as there dosent seem to be a slot for her anywere they all seemed to be filled.
so i take it the bbc has dropped its desicion to consider moira on "a digital news channel".we havent heard any news on the story for quite a while now.
she could move to GMTV they have just readers dont they.
not that i agree that moira is just a reader nearely 30 years of experience counts for more than a journalism degree moira would interview well and has in the past before 1999, so the bbc should give her a chance somewere.

I think we should also ask ourselves if we were Moira - would we want to stay with the BBC following all this?
I also think that if she was to 'jump ship' she'd have done it by now. Sky or ITN would have made a move before now - so I doubt that will happen.
Perhaps we will never see Moira again on our screens!
