Easy solution - put her on Radio 4. All the announcers there are just readers - she'd be perfect.

Moira is more than a news READER and can INTERVIEW and AD LIB now again.
She is well up there beside heavy weight journalists such as Kirsty Young and Natasha Kaplinsky.

Moira did the first half hour of the show from the sofa, with Rob Bonnet for a while. Then they both did that segment from Moira's news desk.
There was one occasion where the presenter had been delayed (Natasha?) and Moira stayed on with Dermot until she (or a last minute substitute) arrived.

how could they all get round moiras tiny desk i can just remember moira im sure sport was from the sofa.and why was the first half hour presented by a different presenter : though on weekends bill presents the first half hour on saturday and last half hour on sunday on his own
i must have missed the show when moira coverd for natasha would have been intresting she would be good on breakfast as a main presenter

The first half hour from 0600-0630 was called "Breakfast Briefing" and was presented by Moira and Rob Bonnet. Then Dermot and Natasha took over at 0630.

why do they not do it anymore moira should have been the main presenter and they should have just left her with dermot the show that natasha was delayed and natasha could have done the roundups every half hour when she arrived it would have made the show look more joint that natasha creeped in half way on the newsdesk insted of moving the main presenters half way through the show
they should try her on news 24 insted of just diching her she could do well maybe as a second person on peter scissons slots

i think it goes some way to explain the comments that were made about BBC News bosses putting Moira to the back seat in 1999. Let's face it, she has not been utilised since the revamp of that year.
