regarding that bold waffle up top. Perhaps Moira doesn't want a big job? She's probably on quite a cushy salary for doing the odd weekend bulletin.

I think she's marvellous and would love to see her present the one or the six but perhaps she dosn't want to.

Her biog on Wikipedia now lists her birthdate as 1952. I thought she was older than that . . . no offence Moira. Of course I would take anything that comes from that site with a pinch of salt.

Maxine Mawhinney did the lunchtime summary and Matthew Amroliwala the evening and late bulletins (Matthew was down to present in the Radio Times).
