You have got to be joking. She makes Kaplinsky seem half-decent.

A little harsh. I think she's the right sort of presenter for Breakfast all though because I haven't seen her present for a while I can't elaborate my argument any further.

As for 'the right sort of presenter for Breakfast' - I take it you mean someone reasonably attractive - can read an autocue, and to hell with gravitas, warmth and journalistic experience - and there is a reason they don't used her often - me thinks that the fact you haven't seen her for a while says it all.

Susanna Reid, and Mishal Hussein are/were right for Breakfast - pity that they aren't on very often, and that Mishal has gone back to World.

I thought Jules brought warmth to the programme and had a fair bit of humour at the appropiate places and at other points was serious enough. On the other hand I thought Mishal definitely didn't bring warmth to the programme especially not that week when she was presenting with Natasha. I think Susanna Ried is good for Breakfast but only on the newsier editions on the weekends - I don't think she would be too good for weekdays.

Mishal IMO brought newsines to the programme - which it desparately needs - she was very good with Bill.

IMO the weekdays should be like the Saturday edition - including the papre review -which is beyond me why they don't do a weekday one - they did afterall do it for over 10 years, albeit in a different style - but it adds a magazine element to it, whilst remaining news-like.

Roll on the move to News 24.

Has anybody got any footage of them presenting together. From what I've heard, the atmosphere between those two on Breakfast that week was colder than the Arctic. Confused Shocked

Don't have any footage - but 'twas indeed rather icy. Natasha came over as fluffy, whilst Mishal had the newsines, and made for rather uneasy viewing.

I agree with your point about the paper review - there should be one every day at 7.45. Also in the Breakfast Briefing why don't they show the actual newspaper? They seem to use a picture of it yet at around midnight they have a paper review on N24 with the papers anyway.
