In a worse case scenario they have Millbank. Do they still have a desk and Production fascilities there? They also have TC7 which could be used in emergencies.
I think in the worst case, BBC NC would simulcast World, but they have the ads to contend with.
On another note - are BBC World News taking the BBC NC studio presentation do we know?
Had this been a week or two later, they might have been a little hamstrung - N9 will be running Arabic TV soon, and I believe has been running rehearsals over the last couple of days. (See the BH thread if you've not been following this one...)

Not on a Wednesday lunchtime though (and Ed Milliband's first PMQ's too)

My theory for tonight on BBC NC etc...
I would assume the News channel will continue rolling tonight during the BBC News at Six at least (as the 30min bulletin comes from TC7, leaving N6 to stay on air). Come 10pm will be interesting. I would assume that it would make sense to do what they did last night and stick the solo News channel presenter with the BBC World News presenter and simulcast World on the News channel again. This would allow the BBC News at Ten to go out on BBC1 while BBC NC is with World.
Does anyone know how many live feeds the BBC News desks can take at any one time?
Also one other question... which of the channels gets priority over footage and Breaking News/onsite reports - is it the domestic UK BBC News channel or BBC World News?

A small bit of PMQ's was shown on Sky but only in a split screen with a live shot of the mine on the left, I think some was also shown on the News Channel.

It does appear from the pauses in Emilys speaking at --:56 and --:26 that BBC World News are simulcasting the BBC News channel. It looks like the News channel will roll from N6 and the BBC News at Six will come from TC7 as usual but separate broadcasts.
How the News at 6pm are going to opt to Chile with only one presenter-out-source for the BBC for all outlets - while Tim/Matt are on the News channel/World News will be interesting to see.
Edit - I was wrong the News channel are taking the 6 from BBC1 - seems rather silly. Why couldnt they roll from N6?

BBC News channel has just broke away from the Six and is now simulcasting World from N8 (with the World News presenter talking over the clips at least).
Also we've lost the Breaking News Aston... Edit -- It's now back, perhaps they were resetting the strap.
Bad decision in my view to even anticapte taking the News at 6 - only to cut it off 6mins in, especially as N6 has and is available for the whole of the 6 while it comes from TC7!
