Looks like tonight may have been his last night, with a bit of retrospective frivolity at the end of the programme - running right into the ITN News.

Dont think it was planned to run right into the national news though! I think they had planned a little 'tearful send-off' with Lynda, but they didnt quite make it before 6.30! Shame.

So... has Fearghal now assumed Mike's role as the second male anchor of UTV Live, or have viewers had back-to-back Paul Clark for the past two weeks?

The latter I'm afraid! Fearghal filled in once or twice but for the past couple of weeks now it has been Paul and Lynda on Thursdays and Fridays!
