Just a quick question to see if anybody is going to the Hugh Cudlipp lecture which this year is being given by Michael Grade and his views on journalism

It's being held at my university - London College of Communication in Elephant & Castle, Southwark on Monday 24th and have managed to get hold of a ticket.

Was wondering whether I'd see any familiar faces (or should that be names) from the forum there. Smile

Can't you take it to the dry cleaners and collect it afterwards ?

Damn cleaners are closed on Mondays, otherwise I would.

I'm hoping to get there on Monday, work permitting.

Apparently tickets are not required, if anyone else is tempted to come along.

Michael Grade is also coming to Staffordshire University some time in the next few months - will keep you posted on the date as I find out.

There's unlikely to be any places in the main venue, but the lecture is being relayed on projectors in the two smaller lecture theatres.

There is a reception/buffet afterwards which will be nice.

Look out for me...I'll be on the door. Tickets at the ready!
