It looks like E! online maybe showing them.

Five News are also showing clips from the reconstruction's.

You have to read the thread about the Pope having flu to understand the reference!

indeed. Mind you with this being Jackson with one sneeze the face could fall off so for him it is major.

ROTFL Laughing

Well his face these days sadly makes the one time good looking guy look a freak.

Do we really need 1/2 hour programs every day covering what is happening? Remove the fact that it is Michael Jackson as the defendant this case is happening hundreds of time around the world.

If this case deserves such attention surely every case deserves this much attention, what about murder trials, do they need to be reconstructed? Or is the fact that it is a famous person involved that make it news worthy rather than the allegations themselves.

It wouldn’t be as bad if they focused on the subject matter.... the possible abuse of a child by an adult and stated how often this happens in America/Europe etc raise awareness of it and do their bit to try and reduce it....instead they have Jackson said this....prosecution said that, Jackson replied .... which adds no value to my life of awareness of world issue.

Apologies if this has been mentioned but on BBC3 News they reported that as Jay Leno is banned from commenting on the Jackson trial due to his involvement he has hired a comedian to make jokes about the trial on his nightly show.

I'm half expecting Sky to put up a large countdown clock any minute (similar to the Foot+Mouth counter) but they appear to have resisted the temptation so far...

I'm sorry but there are times you just get the impression no-one is in editorial control of this channel...

Jeremy + Anna are doing a decent enough job switching between a range of breaking stories, but:

- why put up a caption when they were never sure if it the cutoff was 5.30 (BBC + Sky) or 5.35 (Fox)
- why confuse anyone just tuning in who had no idea what the story was with "5 minutes to go" etc.
- why does every animation have to be accompanied by a 'swoosh'

.. I could go on ..

About time we had the equivalent of a Newswatch for Sky I think.
Whether it'd do any good I don't know, but they would at least have to answer questions like this.

If all you ever kept to was the basics of the story just in case people just tuning in didn't know what was going on, you'd never go into further depth and you'd bore the people who'd been watching longer.

This situation reminds me of a Blackadder quote or two, like

No he's not a cripple Mrs Scratchit; saying "Phew, my leg hurts" when he remembers to wouldn't fool Baldrick

AND

BALDRICK: Nice to see the Lieutenant looking so well, sir

BLACKADDER: Of course he's looking well, there's nothing wrong with him

Interesting how coverage of this has been rather overtaken by other events, though of course Sky have had to stick doggedly to their reconstructions.

ITV's Adrian Britton seems to have left Santa Maria (is he coming home for the election campaign?)

Robert Moore has been doing ITV's coverage of the trial this week from Washington.
