Countdown time now revised on Sky. Court has given Jackson 15 more time to get to court.

BBC reporting that they'll make it on time easily. I mean, what's the point? The court know he's on his way so if he doesn't quite make it, they're hardly going to make a big deal out of it - there's a much bigger decision to be heard.

No, the timings are in Northern Line Minutes.

Quite an interesting shot with News 24 just showing how crowded the media area is outside the court.

How can there possibly be *two thousand* accredited journalists for this thing?

Martin Stanford doesn't seem to have any feedback, he keeps asking the gallery what pictures are on-air.
Something which I think worked quite well recently was the Liverpool victory parade - it was anchored by Jeremy Thompson in Liverpool city centre, but there was also a sports presenter in the studio pitching in with occasional useful comments (such as which football players were on screen, and viewers' emails). Methinks something like that might come in handy in situations like this too.

The ITV News Channel now appear to be providing their own coverage, rather than following MSNBC. In hindsight probably a good idea to take American coverage to start with, to get a flavour of things, get things in order and then come back on air. I thought they were just going to leave it on MSNBC all night.

Talk Sport has gone to James Whale and they were relaying Fox News coverage - an interesting choice, and somewhat hysterical. Typical Fox moment came when they went on about the plane crash in America, going on about it exploding and carnage and being generally over-excited, and then adopting sombre tone and reading straight faced "A sad moment for America". Jeez.

No ITV NC available in my region on Freeview at the moment.

Interesting moment on N24, trying to give a bit of grounding and analysis to the story - remember it's a child abuse trial, they say.
