Ugh. Sky News have a great stream and I like the bandwidth changing (actually, watching my changing bitrate is more entertaining right now) but Burley is terrible. She already said "as a mother". Sad

Might as well be called that, because it's no longer a rolling-news channel.

Interesting, California are charging the media to be there.


I would have hoped BBC News Channel would have gone "actually, we'll go back to rolling news" considering that BBC Two/BBC HD are showing it.

Ditto for Sky News - on which there is a 'News Alert' scroller advertising the service in HD on Sky Arts. Trash.

Possibly the State, but there'll probably at least be some AEG charge. Sky News were talking about the massive debt of the state, and using this as a way of making some money back. Seemed to hint towards it being quite a big amount.

Sky Michael Jackson

There's no excuse for the BBC News Channel to devote two hours of its time to a memorial concert, especially when the BBC have a perfectly good analogue channel that everyone can receive on their ariels. At least the inauguration of President Obama was more newsworthy, because he's the president of the United States, that can influence the world of politics.

France 24 (Sky 513) are showing this concert complete with a rather misleading 'Live from Paris' dog. Obviously refering to the channel rather than whats currently showing on the channel. Poor choice of graphics though.
