Why has the BBC News Channel got a 14:9 feed when BBC2 has it in 16:9?

Is this a 2 minute silence or 'technical problems'?

Bit longer than two minutes! They do realise there's a billion people watching right?

According to the BBC Two coverage, it's a planned moment of silence.

Apparently it is actually a planned silence in the arena, but the UK broadcasts have broken away from it.

CNN have got a (poor) videophone feed out of the centre as well as the pool feed showing people still taking their seats.

CNN and Fox are talking all over it.

Do we know which network/broadcaster are providing the pictures from the Staples Centre?

Those talking on BBC Two need to keep their dam microphones still.... it sounds like they are fiddling with it while they are talking... keep it still!

BBC Two now have an apology caption.

"Apologies for the delay, The service will resume shortly".

Burley is attrocious.. they should have flown Jeremy T out there but alas what Burley wants, Burley gets (AIUI).
