Nothing new there then, just a few of her gems.

If you're just joining us, the entire eastern seaboard of the United States has been decimated by a terrorist attack- covering the 9/11 attacks.

Do you think he would have murdered all those prostitutes if your sex life was better? To the former partner of Ipswich serial killer Steve Wright.

Suggesting to an aviation expert in a discussion about helicopter crashes, that ejector seats would probably save many lives. Obviously forgetting about those blade thingies on top.

Kay Burley's contribution is pretty pathetic and pointless.

It's just been announced that BBC Two will be covering the service from 6pm tomorrow.

Simon Cowell even manages to worm his way into a funeral - it's reported on SYCO's Twitter page that Shireen Jafar, the whiney kid from the final of BGT (who didn't win, BTW) is singing at the memorial.

According to GMTV this morning Jackson wanted to meet him after seeing him perform on YouTube, though how much of that is true is anyone's guess.

MTV US is showing the memorial ( http://www.mtv.com/ontv/schedule/ ) but I see MTV UK isn't unless they are planning a late schedule change.

The service will be airing on MTV UK's website though - http://www.mtv.co.uk/artists/michael-jackson/news/131398-watch-michael-jackson-memorial-service

MTV UK will be airing an "MTV Presents" programme at 7pm.

Sorry to split hairs, but you can get helicopters with ejector seats, the Kamov Ka-50 was the first helicopter to be fitted with one. AIUI the system is very similar to that of a conventional fixed-wing aircraft: The main rotors are equipped with explosive bolts and are designed to disintegrate moments before the seat rocket is fired.

Those other two quotations are shocking though!

So to clarify, who's presenting each coverage? Given this is a concert as well as news - how is it going to play out?

Kay Burley presenting Sky News/HD coverage (on Arts as well?)
Huw Edwards for the BBC/HD?
MTV....?

(Apologies if this has already been clarified earlier in the thread)

Just sounds like typical Cowell to me. I bet he thought "Hmm I wonder who I can pick to do something for the memorial" "Lets give Shaheen a go.."

But as said, it's anyone's guess.

I doubt if Huw will be there for the BBC, he did the ten last night-maybe Emily?
