Michael Fish has come out of retirement to present the weather on BBC South East Today and Radio Kent for a few weeks.

Not too sure why, but I guess it's because of a shortage of presenters - Natalie Booker only does part-time and is due to have another baby in April whilst Kaddy Lee-Preston is filming the new series of Inside Out. This leaves just Nick Miller who seems to be concentrating on the morning shift.

Michael's first day was today, nothing major to report although they did play some of his old forecasts (and fashions) in the background whilst he was being interviewed by the presenters in the studio. Michael did mention that he had been a guest of the NHS for sometime, but he looked well.

Sorry there's no screen grabs, but I thought it was nice to see him back on the screens. Has he done any forecasting for the other regions since his retirement?

EDIT: Have seen this covered in another thread, sorry for the duplication.
