Yes but 'Thompsett the Giant' is so 'branded'. 
Also, aside from Meridian.... I was shocked to see a reporter on BBC South East Today trying to hold herself back from laughing during a serious murder enquiry story on the 6.30 bulletin tonight. Don't know what happened there but it was a bit uncalled for.

On South East Today news as well Bev Thompson will be off the programme for at least a month because she said she was going into hospital.

He has a wealth of experience - Sky News - LWT - TVS - and a whole host of **** channels.
As for laughing during a murder story - it's a punishable offence - take that reporter to the gallows and off with the head!!!!

Well, she tried to hide it but when the camera cut away to the newsreader she obviously forgot you could still see her on the newsroom plasma!

Dodgy start on yesterdays Meridian Tonight SE...
They had obviously recorded the headline bed again to include some breaking news - unfortunately it wasn't edited in time and we were left with a shaky camera and Phil and Charlotte reading scripts until eventually the direct feed cut in!
Not to mention the other numerous errors in yesterday's programme. No sound on the ITV News headline opt out.

This is Juilette Fletcher. I've seen this happen before on Meridian Tonight with the captions, but it said "HEADLINE GOES HERE".
