It's hardly earth shattering or disastrous news, TVN, i.e. that the Radio Times contained a printing error.
It's not quite on the same level as the Pakistani Earthquake, Blair's Commons Defeat, or Al Qaeda attacks in the middle east. Now, those subjects really ARE disgraceful.
Maxine will turn up again sometime soon. Relax.

No, of course I only meant it is disgraceful if they knowingly printed this error.
And the news stories you mention
Pakistani Earthquake - Devastating
Blair - Idiot, can't even run his own party correctly.
Al Queda - Al Quaeda are clearly a different kind of disgrace.

So you think someone at the Radio Times is deliberately planting false information about news presenter rotas? It's a minor error which the vast majority of people won't have noticed, and even fewer will have cared about.

Well, don't all start complaining about this next one - Radio Times has just published a photograph of GEORGE and his new presenting partner on the SIX, whilst 'Tash takes a day off next week. I wonder it RT has got it wrong again, and maybe used the wrong picture for the caption....................

A milestone?! Maxine has done national BBC1 bulletins before and even presented breakfast with Sian a few years ago.
She also presented Breakfast with Bill Turnbull on Christmas Eve as well. She was very good on the programme when she presented.

I am dissapointed to see that my other thread was closed.
I think a new thread alerting other users to a milestone in newsreading (A freelancer presenting a flagship bulletin) was worthy of a place on this forum.
**** this. I'm off.
