He is one of the presenters of CNN Today (Europe). The aforementioned Richard Quest is going to be focussing on his special programmes - Business Traveller and Quest, but will still fill in from time to time.

Yeah, Max left the BBC earlier thsi year. I've not seen any of his work on CNN. Whats he reporting on? Business?

Mr Q (on the subject of Mr. Quest - any connection???????)
I am sorry to hear the RQ will be less involved in presenting bulletins from now on. I agree with the orinal post above - he is excellent in what he does and brings an truly wonderful style to news presentation. Don't mistake me - he is also excellent at handling the serious stuff too. I have been watching Mr. Quest broadcasting since 1996/6, when he used to be on BBC World as a business correspondent.
Another one who is pretty damn good at what she does, with a unique style, is Becky Anderson of CNN. She and Quest were a good pairing.
Max Foster - I am sure he will grow into the role. By comparison to the above two mentioned, he is incredibly wooden and not very good.........
I am sure that he will develop though.

On what do you base this amazing conclusion ?

No... Although I wouldn't mind his job...
I'm a big fan of both Quest and Becky - very good at what they do, and each bring something of a unique approach to newsreading.
Wooden is perhaps a bit unfair - I mean, he does try and times to be a bit more relaxed... But yes, I would certainly say he's not the most engaging of newsreaders. At least though, when he tries to inject a bit of humour, it actually seems to go somewhere... Unlike another recent CNN London recruit, Andrea Sanke.
