indeed, it does really seem bizarre and pointless. It's good they're trying out new formats - but this seems a tad misjudged.

Btw, for those who can't see it, they are using the LT studio.

He seems like a very bland presenter, but I'm not saying anything right now, I'm goin to see how this goes.

Seeing as the first line of Gay Bar is 'Hey? Do you have any money?' it could be quite appropriate, if the rumours about ITV News' under-funding are to be believed.

What I saw of it (about 3 minutes) it looked an awful programme, but I will say that the London Tonight studio does probably work better for a relaxed style interview than the main ITV News room.

Perhaps they could consider putting a bit more into Evening News Extra and giving it a regular presenter (not Mark/Mary, perhaps Alistair) - then using the London Tonight studio just to differentiate it a bit more.

I watched parts of the late night repeat, his interview with Daisy Wright was terrible.
