Sounds like another great reason not to watch the ITV News Channel as far as I'm concerned. Why that odious rentagob needs any more air-time is a mystery.
Perhaps they're trying to emulate the lack of success of Sky News' Littlejohn programme.
I didn't really have any strong feelings about the man until I went to a talk he gave in Leeds a few years ago. Considering his job is to make people look good, he came across as insincere, slimy and unpleasant.
His incessant references to the 'whole lotta good work for charidee' he's done made me feel exceptionally uncomfortable. Everyone I spoke to afterwards said it came across as a desperately transparent PR job for himself... and there's very little as distasteful as using charity to make yourself look good.
Ohajah and Friends would be interesting -- perhaps she could discuss her I'm-so-above-reading-randomly-chucked-together-links-into-regional-news-packages-on-this-joke-channel-where-did-my-career-go-wrong facial expressions and mannerisms.
As for the Max Factor, whoever's responsible should be sat down - perhaps in a dark room - and given a SERIOUS talking to...sounds like the most hateful idea for any TV programme on any channel ever. To make matters worse I fully expect it to have the production values of one of Owen Thomas's suits.
