Well this is shocker!

Demoted from News at Ten to Evening News. I'm not surprised in so many ways!

But a big loss for such a well-known ITV News face for so long.

Certainly a shock! A huge loss to ITV News.

Such a shame but can't blame him.

The present NAT incumbent doesn't hold a candle to Mark.

This was only a matter of time, don't blame him at all. I wonder who will replace him,please god not rageh Omar!!!

Just wondering where he'll end up. Interesting that there's no mention of continuing involvement with ITV in the presser.

Deserving of a thread of its own, this is sad news for ITN and for many of us here. Mark is a splendid broadcaster and journalist, whether in the field or in the studio.

Wishing him well for the future.

It was on the cards as soon as he and Julie were bumped off news at ten in my opinion.

Apparently he is still going to be doing stuff for ITN Productions so I wonder if it's the news he is just leaving from?
