Kay burley in sky news centre on now I think. Is she going to claim to break this ahead of Martin Stanford like what happened in the past?

This has been some great coverage and I am probably going to be staying up all night at this rate. Is it wrong that I am more interested in what Sky/BBC do rather than Mr. Moat?
It's a shame for the BBC though really. Don't get me wrong, their coverage has been great but I can't help thinking that Sky News had the better coverage between about 21:30 and 22:00 (they didn't have a 10pm bulletin to get ready so their A team could remain on air) and ITV had the best 10pm bulletin (first moving pictures of Mr. Moat and an exclusive interview with the friend who has gone in to speak with Mr. Moat). It's times like this that the BBC need completely separate teams working on the 10pm news and the rolling news so that the don't have a detrimental effect on each other. Still, the coverage has been execellent from BBC, Sky and ITV. I'm not sure about Sky reporting the Gazza news yet. If it turns out not to have been Gazza on the radio then they may end up looking foolish. They should have reported 'Man claiming to be Gazza.....' in my opinion. If he really did walk up to the police cordon, how come we didn't see him on any of the live feeds?
As an aside, did anyone hear what sounded like a gun shot at 19:3X on BBC News? They had a very wobbley camera with no voice over for a while and I heard a loud bang. I even rewound it and played it back. On second thoughts, it might have been those two police cars colliding. What time did that happen? Obviously this wasn't a gunshot, that was just my first thought at the time.
Sky have reported that he has been provided food and water by the police, my bet is that it is drugged and we are now just waiting for the effects to take hold.

Burley must have been on a plane when there was all the developments this evening, otherwise she would have headed back to Rothbury. Quite bizarre decision for her to come in and present at almost midnight.

I think her and Jeremy returned to London last night. Neither presented today with Sky having Gerrard Tubb and Andrew Wilson taking over from 5
