Wow something marginally different than the normal graphics. The current BBC graphics IMO are so far past is expiry date....
DO
In what way? Yeah, they're not perfect, but they look fine and do the job. They're animated, but not overly so, and they're consistent in the way they're used, so apart from coming up with a completely different style (which isn't going to happen, and doesn't need to anyway), I don't know how you'd go about making them better.

As I said IMO (in my opinion). I didnt say they arent functional. But IMO I think there are fresher animations and nicer fonts available than whats used. I now find these stale and boring. Some of the graphics being used by other pubcasters across Europe are IMO feel fresher and modern without being over the top and flashy (NRK comes to mind). These were clean, modern and different when they launched, so many channels around the world have copied the red and white globe and similar astons, its no longer unique. Not saying the signature BBC red colour needs to change, but strictly from a presentation point of view they are boring to me now.

Now, now... No need for name calling.
BBC doesn't have any money to spend at the moment on flashy idiot-pleasing irrelevancies.
Now, now... No need for name calling.
