The *Make Owen a Star* thread

Well with the ITV NC looking doomed, I believe it is of paramount importance that this thread be started. We don't want Owen Thomas to be a casualty of the impending (apprently) closure of the ITV News Channel, so the only thing to save him is if he were to become a permanent feature of the news on ITV1.

We NEED Owen to do a shift on ITV1, just to prove what a fab presenter he is and how capable he is of handing a mainstream bulletin. I urge you all to do what I have done and email ITV News at news@itv.com and tell them just how fab Owen is and how deserving he is of a higher profile position.

You KNOW it makes sense. Together, we can make a difference.

Owen used to be over here on BBC World, and we would gladly welcome him back in a heartbeat!

He was previously a presenter of World Business Report.

i've always found owen thomas to be odd and somewhat unlikable.

i don't know if it's his appearance or on-screen behaviour and language, but he makes me feel quite sick to look at him.

personally i think he should be confined to local commercial radio, perhaps somehere up north where it's sh!t and rains a lot.

I don't know if it's because you are a complete plank or online behaviour and language, but you make me feel quite sick to listen to.

Personally i think YOU should be confined to the zoo you came from.

About Owen Thomas, I totally agree with you Phil. I am going to email ITV because, he is fantastic, along with Lucy Alexander, she doesn't deserve to go back to LT, but to the mainstream ITV Bulletins.

YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING. I THINK HE SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF OF TELEVISION AND PLACED FIRMLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NORTH SEA.
