Ouch, poor Tess Daly. I agree though that the BBC should never have allowed her and Fearne Cotton on the coverage. Though certain male presenters (Matt Baker and Jake Humphrey) should also not be ignored for there terribleness during the coverage.

He's right, the whole jubilee coverage was a shambles.

He's completely right - especially about the presenters referring to Her Majesty as Her Royal Highness.
Bit of a shock seeing the topic pop up again. I thought HRH was unwell again.

It's because someone's changed the title, it was the Jubilee thread originally

The Royal Family they may be but surely they deserve some basic human courtesy when it comes to such medical matters - even the information released yesterday wasn't enough and journalists were prying for more information when there was little more to the story than the Queen having the ****.

Sky News are always live
The Queen is in hospital. Sky News LIVE at the moment.

Agreed. I watched BBC News from 4pm when the news was announced. They had Nicholas Witchell in the studio to discuss it. IMO it should have ended at that but they then went on to speak to a doctor, daily express correspondent, Jennie Bond and I think someone else. None of this really added anything extra and the detail they went into was quite unnecessary at times.
