He always seems to be hospitalised at important times for the Royal family. Christmas Eve/Day and now The Queen's Jubilee.
On BBC News they are continuing the weekend style presentation. Tim and Matthew have been on since 1pm - could they do a Maxine shift?

It was getting tedious to watch already. Tim might as well have stood on a soapbox and got a loud speaker out to broadcast the news. It was just so ridiculous and amateurish to ask everyone "What do you think?", "Have you heard?". When there's nothing to say, don't say anything stupid or pointless.
Cue lots of speculation and sensationalism, something which Tim is partly responsible for. At this stage, there's nothing more certain and factual to be said apart from what Matthew is receiving in the studio.
Not sure it's terribly appropriate to have Tim Willcox reading the news in front of cheering crowds.
But then anything is a welcome break from the relentless hours of probing questions to those on The Mall - "Who are you looking forward to?"

Subject of the BBC Breaking News email was just "Prince Philip". Did make me think the worst.

I'm not particularly a Royalist and I know that this is not even the place to mention it. But.....
......I feel really sorry for The Queen tonight. Imagine such a momentous event as a Diamond Jubilee, and suddenly the love of your life and permanent companion for the last 65 years is no longer by your side to participate in it.
Isn't it sad? I did shed a tear.........
Sniff. Sniff.
Get Well Soon, Chookie Embra!
Moving on........

I had completely the same thought when I saw it. Usually the title gives you most of the information.

The BBC persist in calling The Duchess of Cambridge, "Catherine Middleton". Is that The Duchess' chosen name?

I'm surprised to see the NC running with the start of the concert! It should be a News channel, not entertainment channel!
