Surprised that the newspaper reviewer got quite tore into the McCann's on Sunrise this morning, whilst the anchor (Andrew Wilson) allowed him to continue.
It was quite clear after the reviewer's first remark that he was most likely to make several others, which he indeed did.
Andrew either wasn't listening or couldn't be bothered to interrupt.

I'd agree with that-- "Tapas Nine" is now the buzzphrase. Perhaps Gerry McCann will be picked as new England football coach... good track record, he's only lost one in Europe
Seriously though, there haven't been any new developments as you say. The McCanns' helping the police with their enquiries is nothing new, after all.

I'd hoped these negligent parents had disappeared off the news agenda. Why is this non-story still being discussed? There have been no developments. Is it a VERY SLOW news day?

Yeah, I can see the Christmas Day news now..
"The Queen and the Royal family went to Westminster Abbey this morning for the Christmas service and in other news, Gerry and Kate McCann have spent their first Christmas without their daughter Madeleine...now here's the weather with Peter Gibbs"

We'll probably have to put up with all the "Christmas without Madeline" stories in the next couple of weeks.

That may be prophetic... satire usually outpaces reality afterall

Jane Hill in Portugal AGAIN??????????? This time, trailing a special report that is to be shown on BBC World. I assume it will also be shown on BBC News 24, whatever it is?

Thank God for the World Service... oh feck, where's me medium-wave aerial?
Honestly, I don't know why this story is continuing to attract press attention seven months later . However, I wouldn't be surprised if the Di-ly Obsess had thought up a headline for every single one of those days.
