Well what did those people expect with Patrick Kielty, he's not known for his un-PC humour. It's funny that when he tells jokes about the Troubles, IRA terrorism etc everyone laughs-- yet a few McCann jokes cause outrage!
Well that might be because since we haven't been bombarded with the same level of coverage as britain people are not as cynical about the story

In Dublin, yes. However at a show in London, they found the same jokes hillarious.
Well he did hold a vote as to whether the parents were guilty or not.

This blurb from the Sky News Website annoys me greatly:
"Never mind Burma, never mind the General Election, never mind Bluetongue disease. There's only one question on everybody's lips: "Did the McCann's do it?"
WTF!!!!!
They need to sort their priorities out...

Sounds like they're trying to be ironic - but failing to notice that they are largely responsible for the ridiculous coverage this story has got.
As for the McGanns - well, since when did parents of missing/murdered children have a whole team of spokespeople, some of whom could qualify for I'm a Celebrity.
I just hope for the sake of British Journalism that they did do it so that the press has to face up to how it's covered the story in the last few months.

OK, but to have this as the main story on the Vista Sidebar Gadget (I assume this takes the same feed as the main homepage), it really is taking the p*ss a bit...
I also want a resolution to the story - Madeline is obviously dead, but I want to know what actually happened...

As long as you keeping expressing an interest in a satisfactory resolution it will continue to be the lead story on Sky's ticker.

I don't mean to be funny with you here, but why "obviously"? Likely maybe, but we don't know for sure yet...

Well Said. Madeleine is NOT OBVIOUSLY dead. Please keep any arm chair jury thoughts to yourself. We're discussing the presentation of the story on the news.

Well, can someone please tell the tabloids then that Madeline is NOT OBVIOUSLY missing and her parents are NOT OBVIOUSLY innocent!
It is amazing how almost universally the media seem to be taking one side of the story - yet when you discuss it with people the almost universal reaction is one completely different - i.e. Madeline is obviously dead and the parents are not as innocent as the press like to make them out to be.
Sad but unfortunately probably true - but if Madeline was black, this story would long be forgotten.
