Yeah, next like 'George at Asda' no doubt we'll have a 'Maddie Kids Clothing range at Tesco'.

On Central Non-News East , the top story was that the McCanns are going on tour to Morocco, to.. errrm... err... gain more publicity it would seem. Apparently there may have been a sighting of a girl in Morocco that looked a bit like Madeleine or summat. A nice exotic location to stop the tour at anyhow <"cynical wink" emoticon>.

If that doesn't satisfy your Madeleine fix, on today's BBC East Midlands Today there's an in-depth interview with Madeleine's parents about... not a lot really!!

The McCann's made one final (outrageous) demand today, and begged Google to superimpose Madeleine's eyes onto the Google logo worldwide...

I've been critical of the McCanns but I don't see why not for a week or two, Google often modify their logo for special occasions so its nothing out of the ordinary for them.

Yes, they do, for special occasions. I think it would be rather self-indulgent of the parents to cotinue with this demand, though.

Yes, go for it Google. Ditch your current logo, and each day rotate through the eyes of all the children that have gone missing.

I thought the special occasions were for days national celebration or international annual charity days; rather the parents of a missing child who have the financial clout to generate a massive publicity machine for their missing child... because no other other missing kid is worth a look-in.

Whilst I do hope Madeleine is found safe and well, the whole "Team McCann tour" is starting to reach saturation point I feel.

The scene of those kids in Morroco cheering the parents and holding pictures of Madeline was one of the most sickening things I've seen on TV in a long time!

(and we all saw the London 2012 logo last week!)

Eyes you say? Well, that wouldn't fit into Google's general rule that photos don't usually make it into their modified logos. Aside from that, that'd be a bit "New Labour, New Evil" type situation, wouldn't it?

I seen a member of proboards support with a singnature with linking to the campaign website. First time I seen it I went here to report it. Want to see it?

They were on CNE again today, Day 94 of headline coverage there. The McCanns are going to Morocco to "raise awareness and publicity" of the cause. Of course they have done a pretty poor job of doing that so far haven't they Wink

Yes it was quite disturbing. I saw it this morning on the BEEB. It's like they've become celebraties. It's all becoming a bit weird.
